WELCOME!
My name is George Rodriguez, and ever since I could remember, I was very passionate about art. I still vividly remember staying up late to work on drawings for the county fair. When I was awarded ribbons, I felt so proud that I was winning something that I enjoyed doing.
My passion for art along with my ambition to think outside the box has continued to burn brightly into adulthood.
Today, I am a creative service manager for the University of Houston-Victoria, where I take a leadership role in the design
and production of numerous university publications and marketing materials. Being a manager has made me a better communicator, listener, and team player.
Fun facts about me!
While working at Cracker Barrel back in the day, I received an award for being “Beamer” of the year!
A Beamer is someone whose personality really shines.
I once saved a puppy from getting hit by a car! I took him home and named him Baby Ivan.
In high school, I was 1 of only 5 in our whole district to advance to state for my drawings in art class.
In college for graphic design, I was voted in for President of our Graphic Design Association for two years in a row!
In my video and editing class in college, I was dressed as a ninja in a short film about saving the last potato chip!
In my spare time, I like to create music on my computer! I plan to sell my music on iTunes soon so be on the lookout! my debut album is titled "Mettamorphus.”
